As the countdown to Futurebuild Australia 2026 begins, we’re spotlighting exhibitor StoneSet. Since 2008, StoneSet has been Australia’s premier manufacturer of high-performance, resin-bound permeable paving. Read on to discover their current design trends, and what you can expect to find at their stand.
Can you give us a brief introduction to your brand?
StoneSet is Australia’s leading manufacturer of premium resin-bound permeable paving systems. Since 2008, we’ve specialised in creating seamless natural stone
surfaces that combine architectural appeal with advanced performance. Our systems are designed for both new permeable paving and resurfacing existing substrates, offering architects, builders, landscapers and councils a smarter alternative to traditional hardscape finishes. We manufacture our own polyurethane resin technology in-house and proudly supply projects across Australia and internationally.
What differentiates your brand from other competitors in the market?
Definitely that we engineer the high-performance paving systems built specifically for harsh Australian conditions. Our point difference is evident in our proprietary UV-stable, PFAS-free polyurethane resin technology, our true permeable paving systems engineered for drainage and durability with advanced capabilities to overlay existing concrete, tiles, pavers, etc minimising demolition and waste creating a more sustainable and environmentally conscious effort in the construction industry. Our in-house manufacturing, development and technical support from specification through to installation.

Are there any exciting trends that you are seeing in the world of design this year?
Absolutely, one exciting trend we’re seeing a lot more of is the continued shift toward circular and adaptive economy design thinking, particularly the prioritisation of resurfacing and retaining existing substrates rather than demolishing and rebuilding
There is also growing emphasis on:
- Permeable surfaces for WSUD and stormwater management
- Lower embodied carbon material selections
- Natural, textural finishes over synthetic or highly manufactured materials
- Multi-functional landscape design where aesthetics, accessibility and sustainability intersect
Designers are increasingly looking for materials that deliver both architectural quality and measurable environmental outcomes which is where we can help.
What can our visitors expect to see and experience on your stand at Future Build? Any new launches?
Visitors can expect a highly interactive stand designed to showcase the full versatility of StoneSet’s Premium UVR and permeable paving systems.
We’ll be demonstrating:
- Our premium natural stone blend range across both residential and commercial applications
- Live examples of permeable paving and resurfacing system build-ups
- Technical detailing of our substrate retention and overlay capabilities
We’ll also be showcasing some exciting recent project case studies that demonstrate how StoneSet is being used to transform challenging spaces without demolition, like our most recent project for Citadel Towers, in Chatswood NSW.
What are you looking forward to the most at Futurebuild Australia 2026?
For us, it’s the opportunity to engage directly with Australia’s design and construction community.
Design Show Australia brings together some of the industry’s most forward-thinking architects, landscape architects, builders and specifiers, so it’s always a fantastic environment to discuss emerging project challenges, share technical knowledge, and explore how surfacing design is evolving.
We’re particularly excited to continue conversations around permeable design, circular construction practices and smarter resurfacing methodologies.
You can meet StoneSet (Stand #742) at Futurebuild Australia 2026 from 11-13 June 2026, at ICC Sydney, register to attend today!
