By prioritising authentic timber over reconstructed alternatives, iWood ensures that the unique grain, texture, and character of genuine wood remain the focal point of every project. Read on to discover their current design trends, and what you can expect to find at their stand.

Can you give us a brief introduction to your brand?

iWood Australia is a specialist supplier of premium prefinished natural timber veneer panels for modern Australian interiors.
Backed by our own factory equipped with the most advanced production machinery and technology, we control every step from raw material selection to final finishing. This allows us to deliver exceptional quality and consistency while meeting Australian standards.
We focus on authentic natural timber veneer rather than reconstructed options, preserving the unique grain, texture and character of genuine wood. Our panels are built on high-performance substrates and finished in-factory with a UV Polyacrylate coating.
The result is stunning, ready-to-install solutions for walls, ceilings, doors and cabinetry that save time, reduce costs and deliver outstanding performance.

What differentiates your brand from other competitors in the market?

What sets iWood Australia apart is our commitment to authentic natural timber veneer combined with genuine performance advantages that most competitors simply don’t offer.
While many retailers focus on reconstructed or engineered veneers, we use real natural timber veneer. This preserves the unique grain, texture, and beauty of genuine wood, delivering that authentic look and feel designers and clients love.
We’ve also moved away from the traditional 2Pac finishing process that is time consuming, costly, and creates more on site work and VOC exposure. The UV Polyacrylate finish is a high-performance, factory-applied system that provides a consistent, durable and beautiful surface with excellent scratch and wear resistance while maintaining extremely low VOC levels.
Our panels are built on premium substrates. We use Luli Fine Surface OSB as one of our core, Luli is a globally respected manufacturer with FSC and PEFC certification. Their HENF grade Fine Surface OSB offers outstanding structural strength, excellent screw holding, moisture resistance, and an exceptionally smooth surface that’s perfect for high end decorative applications. Most importantly, it delivers extremely low formaldehyde emissions thanks to MDI (zero added formaldehyde) bonding.
All of this is backed by full Australian compliance. Our prefinished veneer panels have passed the rigorous AS ISO 9705 full scale room fire test and achieved Group 3 classification under AS 5637.1, while also meeting Super E0 / SE0 formaldehyde standards.

Are there any exciting trends that you are seeing in the world of design this year?

One of the biggest shifts we’re seeing is the strong demand for smarter and faster construction solutions.
Builders, designers and clients are looking for ways to achieve beautiful, high-quality interiors without the long lead times, high labour costs, and on-site mess associated with traditional timber finishing. There’s growing interest in prefinished systems that arrive ready to install, reduce waste, and allow projects to move much more quickly from design to completion.
At the same time, the focus on healthy indoor environments continues, with specifiers prioritising materials that offer low emissions and minimal on-site chemical exposure.
This is exactly where iWood fits perfectly, delivering authentic natural timber beauty through efficient, ready-to-install prefinished panels.

What can our visitors expect to see and experience on your stand at Futurebuild Australia 2026? Any new launches?

Visitors will be able to touch and feel our latest prefinished natural timber veneer panel range in a variety of beautiful veneers and finishes.
We’ll have real-life application samples on display, including fluted feature walls, door surrounds, kitchen islands and full cabinetry solutions, so you can see exactly how these panels perform in actual interior spaces.
We’re also launching some exciting new finish options and contemporary colourways developed specifically for the Australian market — lighter, warm tones that retain that authentic wood character. Come and see how easily these panels can transform walls, ceilings, doors and cabinets.
Our customised booth has been designed to inspire the future of renovation and new build projects across Australia, showing how iWood delivers beautiful, high-performance timber solutions that are ready to install and fully compliant.

What are you looking forward to the most at Futurebuild Australia 2026?

We’re most excited about meeting architects, designers, specifiers, and builders face-to-face. Hearing directly about the challenges and opportunities in the current Australian market, and showing how iWood’s low-emission, prefinished panels can add real value to their projects is what we love most.
The energy at Design Show Australia is always fantastic, it’s the perfect place to build strong local relationships and get immediate feedback that shapes what we bring next to the market.
