Can you give us a brief introduction to your brand?
Mathews Timber is a family owned and operated timber merchant with three locations, supplying timber all throughout Australia.
We are suppliers of a wide range of local and imported timber species, offering our timber to industry and retail customers.
What differentiates your brand from other competitors in the market?
The relationships Mathews Timber have established over years of business with both suppliers and our customer base is what drives our success.
From large scale organisations through to your once a year retail customer we pride ourselves on servicing all customers equally and making sure they have a positive experience at Mathews Timber.
Are there any exciting trends that you are seeing in the world of design this year?
With changes to the Australian timber industry quite frequent we have seen a rise in demand for imported timber products, this will continue to be a trend in the years to come as local products become more scarce.

What can our visitors expect to see and experience on your stand at Futurebuild Australia 2026? Any new launches?
We will have a wide range of timber that visitors can touch and feel, there’s no better way to experience timber than in your hands.
We will be promoting Accoya Color Grey which is a relatively new product in the Australian market. As the first importer of Accoya into Australia Mathews Timber have worked diligently to establish the Accoya name throughout industry and are delighted to now offer the Accoya Color product range.
What are you looking forward to the most at Futurebuild Australia 2026?
Connecting with all those in the industry, hearing first hand the feedback from users of all our products as well as seeing what new products are available on the market from competitors and alike.
