Meet the Brand: saveBOARD

As the countdown to Futurebuild Australia 2026 begins, we’re spotlighting exhibitor saveBOARD. saveBOARD is redefining the Australian construction landscape by bridging the gap between waste management and sustainable development. Read on to discover their current design trends, and what you can expect to find at their stand.

Can you give us a brief introduction to your brand?

saveBOARD is an Australian company on a mission to solve two of the construction industry’s biggest problems; packaging waste and the demand for sustainable building materials.

We take everyday packaging materials like milk cartons, and soft plastics that would otherwise end up in landfill and transform them into high-performance building products. It’s circular economy thinking made real, and it’s happening right here in our own backyard.

What differentiates your brand from other competitors in the market?

Most sustainable building products ask you to compromise either on performance, on price, or on availability. saveBOARD doesn’t, we believe performance, plant and price are equally important to drive real demand.

We’ve engineered our products to be replacements for traditional building products, not just a green alternative. We’re fundamentally rethinking what building materials can be made from, that combination of genuine performance and genuine sustainability is what sets us apart.

Are there any exciting trends that you are seeing in the world of design this year?

We’re seeing a real shift from sustainability being a “nice to have” to being a the core of the design and construction brief. Architects and designers are no longer just asking “does it look good?”, they’re asking “where did it come from, and where will it go at end of life?”

That’s exactly the space saveBOARD was designed for, we’re also seeing a growing appetite for materials with a story, and ours is pretty hard to beat, your frozen pea bag could end up as a wall in someone’s home a few weeks later.

What can our visitors expect to see and experience on your stand at Future Build? Any new launches?

Visitors can expect to get hands-on with our range and see our products in different applications. We’ll be showcasing our range of products, so people understand what’s possible with saveBOARD across residential and commercial applications.

We’ll be sharing some exciting new products on the stand, so it’s worth stopping by and seeing Paul & Mark.

What are you looking forward to the most at Futurebuild Australia 2026?

We enjoy the conversations with people who are shaping the built environment. The architects, designers, developers, engineers who can fundamentally change the direction of a project. Decisions made at the design table can determine whether sustainability is the core of the project or an afterthought. We’re hoping that people are pleasantly surprised with what saveBOARD can now offer the market.
