Meet the Brand: Aussie Lifts

As the countdown to Futurebuild Australia 2026 begins, we’re spotlighting exhibitor Aussie Lifts. Read on to discover their current design trends, and what you can expect to find at their stand.

Can you give us a brief introduction to your brand?

Aussie Lifts is an Australian residential lift company that’s been working alongside architects, designers, and builders since 1995. Over 6,000 home lifts later, we’ve grown into a team of 80 with branches in Sydney and Brisbane, plus a network of accredited, factory-trained distributors right across Australia. We cover engineering, manufacturing, and installation of residential and small commercial lifts made to specification. Aussie Lifts is proudly Aussie made, and we’re the exclusive Australian partner for Swift Lifts out of Sweden. That mix of homegrown manufacturing and world-class European engineering is the heart of what we do.

What differentiates your brand from other competitors in the market?

Two things, really. First, our Australian-made modular home lifts are manufactured locally, fully customised to the project, and delivered in 8 to 10 week lead times, which is pretty much unheard of in the residential lift category. They come in their own aluminium shaft, so there’s no structural shaft to build, no waiting on trades to align, and far less risk on site. Second, our exclusive partnership with Swift Lifts means Aussie Lifts can offer cutting-edge Swedish engineering you won’t find anywhere else in Australia. Add in three decades of local know-how, an industry-leading warranty, and a team that actually picks up the phone, and you’ve got a pretty rock-solid proposition.

Are there any exciting trends that you are seeing in the world of design this year?

Plenty. Home lifts are well and truly out of the cupboard, with architects treating them as a design feature now rather than something to tuck away. We’re seeing beautiful integration into stairwells, voids, and central living areas, with custom cabin finishes that match the joinery and material palette. Sustainability is the other big shift in residential lift design. Clients are asking smarter questions about energy use, and the technology has caught up. Battery-operated lifts are a game-changer, and Aussie Lifts is excited to be at the front of that conversation. Overall, the brief has moved from “fit a lift in” to “design with a lift”, which is much more fun to work on.

What can our visitors expect to see and experience on your stand at Futurebuild Australia 2026? Any new launches?

The big one is our 100% battery-operated Swift Lift, and we’ll have a working model on the Aussie Lifts stand that visitors can actually ride in. It’s a proper showcase of where residential lift technology is heading in Australia: no machine room, dramatically lower energy use, and a smooth, quiet ride that has to be felt to be believed. We’ll also be showcasing our Australian-made modular home lift range, fully customised and delivered in 8 to 10 week lead times, complete with its own aluminium shaft. Visitors can explore the full range of options through our 3D lift configurator on stand, alongside our brochures and finish samples. Bring your project plans. Our team loves a good site challenge, and we’ll happily talk through how either solution could work in what you’re designing.

What are you looking forward to the most at Futurebuild Australia 2026?

The calibre of conversation. Design Show pulls in architects and designers who care deeply about the details, and that’s where Aussie Lifts does its best work. As a Sydney-based team, it’s also great to connect with the local design community on home turf. We’re looking forward to seeing how people respond to riding in the battery-operated Swift Lift, because it tends to shift the conversation pretty quickly once you’ve experienced it. And we always love hearing about projects in the pipeline, sharing ideas, and finding smart ways to bring home lifts into designs that hadn’t considered them before. Three days of talking design with people who get it. Couldn’t ask for more
