What differentiates your brand from other competitors in the market?
What truly sets Weathertex apart is our commitment to sustainability without compromising on performance or design. Our products are made using waste timber sourced from Australian PFC certified forests, and we have achieved a better-than-zero carbon footprint across our product range. Unlike many alternatives, Weathertex cladding contains no added silica, which makes it safer to handle and install. Combined with our long warranty periods and versatile design profiles, we offer a unique balance of innovation, safety, and environmental leadership.
Are there any exciting trends that you are seeing in the world of design this year?
One of the most prominent trends we’re seeing is the continued rise of coastal-inspired design. This style has evolved beyond the traditional “beachy” aesthetic into something more refined and contemporary, often referred to as modern coastal. Designers and architects are increasingly embracing timber cladding, soft neutral tones, and subtle textures that reflect the surrounding landscape.
What can our visitors expect to see and experience on your stand at Futurebuild? Any new launches?
Visitors to the Weathertex stand at Futurebuild Australia can expect a truly immersive and hands-on experience, centred around our custom-built tiny house. Guests will be able to step inside, explore the space, and see firsthand how different profiles, textures, and finishes come together to create a cohesive, contemporary design. Alongside the tiny house, Weathertex will also have mini samples of the product, giving visitors the opportunity to touch, compare, and speak with our team about painting and staining and installation methods.
What are you looking forward to the most at Futurebuild Australia 2026?
We’re looking forward to connecting with architects, designers, and industry professionals who are passionate about shaping the future of the built environment.
